Hi everyone,
To come straight to the point. I, with my stupid head, cut the TRV sensor cable and the heater is fully on 100%. I tried a DIY connection but it wouldn’t work.
Now I just want to try to manually close the valve. But I don’t know how.
It says MNG on the knob.

There should be a check valve near the floor. **BUT** if it’s a rental unit contact your landlord, let him send a professional. Don’t try to fix the heater or turn it off yourself with some DIY shit. You don’t want the one being liable for any damages that follows. Right now it should be a somewhat minor fix.
Also be careful when handling the valves. They can get extremely hot.
That’s not a cable, that’s a capillary. You (or your landlord) will have to replace that thermostat. If you don’t need one with a remote sensor, they are not that expensive and this one is easy to replace from what I can see in the second picture.
This is not a wire, but a thin pipe. Thus, you can’t reconnect it.
Replacement thermostats can be found in most home improvement stores. You would also need a wrench to remove the thermostat.
Or just contact your landlord.
I’m curious: What kind of thermostat is this? What does the (cut) attachment do?
You are getting cooked
