Britain’s Prince Andrew has taken up yard work on the $38 million Royal Lodge property he has called home for years. Andrew reportedly must pay a $190,000 maintenance bill to preserve his Royal Lodge property and prevent the residence from spiraling out of control.
Andrew was expected to leave the royal property late last year when his brother, King Charles, cut him off financially. However, he was able to avoid eviction by the skin of his teeth as an anonymous financial source emerged to back him at the last minute. This was not before King Charles began to remove all precious belongings from the residence for fear that Prince Andrew could not preserve the family’s precious artifacts.
As Prince Andrew works to save money, he has taken up yard work, no longer able to afford landscaping. His lack of skill has reportedly resulted in the 21-acre garden appearing in a “shocking state.
