Dear Hredditors from Split area, Ukrainian community needs your help

Hi everyone,

I’m writing on behalf of CVIT – the Ukrainian cultural organization in Dalmatia. Since the war began it’s focused on helping Ukrainian refugees who came to Croatia and collecting medical aid, gear and supplies which we then send to Ukraine. I came here as a tourist shortly before the war, and joined them as a volunteer. Additionally, we need volunteers who can help us at the infopoint in Joker mall. If you have 2 free hours, any day of the week, please sign up here for any of the free slots [https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c4aacaa28a3fd0-ukrainian](https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c4aacaa28a3fd0-ukrainian) It takes 1 min to sign up, and the job is pretty straightforward. The person before you on the schedule will explain everything in person when you come. Basically you’ll be handing out different leaflets that we offer to 1) Croatians who want to help Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees here, 2) Ukrainians who come ask for help or some general info about their status here, etc. If you’re unable to sign up yourself, feel free to share this info and our website with people that you think might be motivated to help.

We want to open a few more similar information desks around the city, but are currently lacking the resources to do that. We are also looking for local businesses who might be willing to help us buy medical supplies, such as tourniquets (in great demand at the moment in Ukraine), first aid kits, etc. If you have some ideas regarding this, do let me know.
