Is this a normal thing or just poverty like on social welfare?
I pretty much do that anyway as an anti diabetes / weight control thing. Judging by the weight of much of the UK population and rise of type 2, this wouldn’t be bad health initiative.

I’m at the point of telling people who say this to just fuck right off.
Meanwhile politicians claim upwards of £200,000 expenses for food, that the taxpayers fund.
There are more community run food banks in the UK than there are Mcdonalds.
But at least Jacob Rees-Mogg finds food banks “Rather Uplifting”
