  1. You can’t “revive coal” any more than you can “revive telegraph service” or “revive top hats as daily haberdashery”. Times have changed and it’s not coming back.

  2. Executive orders aren’t going to change the fact that it’s an awful, dated source of energy and we have much better options now.

  3. Good luck with that. Coal is currently not widely economically feasible for energy production. It’s an empty grature.

  4. Hey good luck with acid rain and poisoning of watersheds rivers n lakes

  5. When you are the only country in the world trying to prop up at the dirtiest form of energy in existence, you are probably wrong.

  6. Is he going to mandate a % of new power plant permits must be for coal? Or offer subsidies to make such plants cheaper than NG? Or have the navy switch back to coal boilers?

  7. What is with Trumps fascination with coal? It’s as dead as the plants that made it.

  8. Next up is revival of the whale oil industry. How many centuries backwards are we gonna look

  9. While the rest of the world moves forward we are heading backwards… WTF…

  10. Trump is the dying breath of the boomer generation and it’s literally gasping and grasping for the past.

  11. He’s just jerking off his base. No executive order is going to revive coal, nor can POTUS force private industry to embrace it.

  12. Just waiting for Trump to sign an executive order aimed at reviving asbestos.

  13. It’s clean, beautiful coal, though, right?

Besides, as well all know, the children yearn for the mines.

  14. Coal ain’t coming back man, these old idiots need to just let it go.

  15. Meanwhile we’re just pretending the most abundant and renewable fuel – whale oil – doesn’t exist. SMH.
