Defense budget was already in the 900’s billions $ for the last few years..
So he’s cutting DoD jobs and downsizing the military but wants a bigger budget. Where’s the money going?

He keeps complaining that the US is spending hundreds of billions of dollars protecting other countries like Canada and the rest of NATO, but he wont cut the very defense spending he’s complaining about. DoD should have been the first DOGE victim, and yet it hasn’t been touched.
So much for that conservative *’fiscal responsibility’* eh? Funny how the national debt and budget are only a problem when they’re not at the wheel
All the ‘Respect for the troops’ people do you realize how much propaganda you have been force fed for that statement to be so normalized.
What wars have those troops fought that can you point to and be absolutely proud of? how many did we start or fight under false pretenses like spreading freedom and democracy or fighting ‘terror’?
not to mention how many of those troops we “respect” end up homeless, drug addicted, mentally ruined, or end up committing violent acts domestically. Defense contractors have poured trillions into marketing the troops so we all shut up and blindly support the destruction of countless countries/communities and lives abroad.
What are the US going to do with all that army if they are no longer the planet’s policeman.
