Trump Campaign analyzes the costs of Greenland Takeover

1. The White House is reportedly exploring the potential cost of making Greenland a U.S. territory, an idea that Donald Trump has long pursued. Despite widespread international backlash, including from Denmark, Trump’s administration is now taking concrete steps toward evaluating the financial implications of such an acquisition. Key considerations include the expenses of providing government services to Greenland’s 58,000 residents and the potential revenue from the island’s mineral resources. The administration is weighing the option of offering Greenland a better deal than Denmark’s current subsidy of $600 million annually. Trump views Greenland as a strategic prize, both for its resources and its military positioning, but critics question the feasibility of extracting resources from the harsh terrain. Still, the administration seems determined to push forward, despite international skepticism and local resistance from Greenland’s leadership.

2. “Greenland takeover” is a pretty whitewashed way to refer to a military occupation of an ostensible allied nation’s sovereign territory in contravention to the will of the people, innit?

   This would normally be labelled warmongering.  It’s clear.

   They will sanewash Trump into oblivion.

   And this all helps normalize Russian conquest and warmongering.

   Edit:  This is the political equivalent of constantly commenting to your friends about having sex with their spouses.  It’s depraved indifference to the rights and privileges of other human beings.  Just on a political level instead.

5. This is the early stages of a narcissistic egotist building a permanent legacy, and getting his name into the Lincoln-FDR-Washington-Roosevelt club, and out of the Buchanan-Johnson-Harding club he’s in now due to his first term.

In the hypothetical event that Trump does invade and take over Greenland, anyone that’s banking on the Democrats doing the correct thing when they eventually reclaim presidency and returning Greenland to Denmark, don’t count on it. Controlling Greenland has been a goal by the Americans for decades. The Democrats would obviously never go about it the way Trump has, but once Greenland is within American control there is zero chance they’re going to let go of it. This isn’t a false equivalency to defend Trump, but because people need to be cleareyed about America in general.

8. If one party claims there’s sunshine and the other says it’s raining, it’s not the media’s job to « simply report » the two divergent claims….

   but it IS the media’s job to go outside, see for themselves and call out the liar !
