Kind of expected when you divide a country in three parts in such a way. Just hope there is peace.
Ah shit, here we go again
In all honesty, current status quo of Bosnia and Herzegovina is untenable. International community forced a peace treaty nobody wanted 26 years ago and refused to act on BiH in the meantime. They hoped economic progress would mellow the situation but the local political elites just became more corrupt and used ultra-nationalistic political platforms to stay in power. So instead of having a working country with decent living standards you have a complete mess with poverty and unemployment.
And to be clear Dodik is not doing this out of some nationalistic reason but out of sheer political survival, he needs to make a big fuss about it because internal pressures are forcing reform and change in the region and he will be the first one to go if that happens.
I know very little about the Balkans.
What would be the issue with partitioning BiH, with the Republika Srpska going to Serbia, the Croat bit going to Croatia, and the Bosniak bit going to Albania?
It won’t happen for various reasons:
1. The Serb leadership is not interested in a breakup because they benefit from the corrupt state the country is in.
2. The demographics are all over the place and the RS is split in 2 parts because of of the Brcko District that is by majority not Serbian.
3. Nobody is willing to fight over there. Most young people there don’t give a shit and think it’s a economic shithole. Even a slight conflict would just cause an influx of immigrants from the region.
4. Serbia is not economically capable to manage the RS and most Croats don’t even care about their countrymen in Bosnia.

Political system of Bosnia is shit, it’s better to discuss dissolution.
