    Glorious HMS Boris

This is the ultimate Brexit wet dream; some people are going to be so disappointed when they realise what the date is.

  3. They have developed a special barrels where the fishing nets are put in. Those barrels are launched from the depth charge launchers dramatically extending the range of the nets. In recent tests, the Rear Admiral S. Quid explained that the nets can be thrown only few feet using traditional methods (four sailors hauling them over), or few yards if hung off the gun barrels and dropped from them. Using depth charge launchers, the nets can be launched up to 100 feet and also be used to catch fast boats.

“This is the dawn of the new era of immigration control”, Rear Admiral S. Quid told.

  4. I love the idea of the Belfast patrolling between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.

We should probably also find something for the Golden Hinde to do as well.

    >Local Wetherspoons Bar Stool Filler, Ben Igot, told us: “It’s about time and it’s great they’ve announced this news today of all days.”

  5. The using a warship to catch migrants as an April fools day joke is in really bad taste. I’m surprised someone had the poor sense to publish it.

  6. They could have said they were going to use the seized P&O ferries to take migrants to a third country detention facility. But the whole point of an April fool’s joke is the delayed realisation that it cannot possibly be true as it’s simply too ludicrous.
