  1. This is how you know reparations are a grift. None of the people complaining about the effects of slavery give a damn about real modern-day slavery.

  3. Im not shocked in the slightest considering how prevalent modern day slavery is globally.

  4. There’s a massive industry relying on slavery in the UK. During the pandemic I worked at HelloFresh (the lowest skilled job imaginable) and I noticed that the vast majority of people were Eastern European immigrants who didn’t speak a word of English. Mof them were dropped off to, and picked up from work by a dodgy-looking guy driving a Benz or an Audi —this was what caught my attention initially.
    It’s actually very hard to get low-skilled work now in the UK because of these gangs who import workers from the east, house them in overcrowded rental houses (8 of them to a room), paying them only a percentage of their earnings, whilst flooding the job market with them.
