  1. Wait, so we might get a Harry Potter theme park in the right country for once?! Woo!

  2. All good, but if we can get this through planning why can’t we build houses?

  3. Good. It will be interesting to see what a bit more competition in the space does to places like Alton Towers, as their ride availability and uptime has been atrocious these last few years. I can’t help but feel they haven’t felt any urgency to rectify it because they know there is little alternative and choice.

  4. I used to live in one of the local villages to where it’s going to be built and I dread to think the impact on the local roads, it was utter chaos at times and that’s without a huge theme park alongside the A421.

Let’s hope they seriously invest in the local infrastructure too.

  5. Living costs are rocketing, people can’t afford essentials, but yeah I’m sure they’ll spend any disposable income in Harry Potter land where a bottle of water is a tenner.

  6. Why would the prime minister need to confirm this? Lol

  7. It’ll never look like that, for one thing the artist has added sunlight.

  8. With what’s happening to tourism in the US, Universal might be rushing to open this even quicker.

  9. When I was a kid I desperately wanted to go to America for the Jurassic park ride. Please let this have one 10 minutes away from me.

  10. By the time its built, The tax payer will be that skint we won’t be able to afford to try it.

  11. Bedford? Random, but right on the door step of the M1. Fair enough.
