Banning fur farming in Europe won’t end the problem. The asking for fur won’t go down and the farming will be done more unethically in 3rd world countries. The prosessing and selling of fur should be banned as well, to actually tackle the problem. Just banning the farming sounds nice and morally good, but it only leads to more animal suffering.
Certainly the right thing to do, but I’ve never understood why there is such in anti fur sentiment when most people are okay with meat farming. What’s the difference?
