I’m relatively convinced that if not for the overwhelming response of the Polish public to the war in Ukraine, PiS would have continued buddying it up with Orban and by proxy Putin. How terribly inconvenient must it be for those wannabe autocrats to govern in a country with such a low tolerance to Russia’s antics.
