  12. That is a very expensive “small” fire. I believe the Russian governor in the area decided that it has 300 m². But a very important 300 m². Those cracking and distillation towers r twitchy things and very difficult to repair and replace. They also have a habit of shutting down entire refineries or at least major lines producing product.

  17. I have no insight in petro-processing industries, but … could someone inform me, is that not “300 m2” of fracking/destillation tower? Am I mistaken, or did someone just light on fire the 300 most crucial and hardest to replace m2s of the installation? Please let me know, if I am misunderstanding something. 🙂
