Sanctions work: Russia’s aviation sector is crumbling—maintenance failing, safety declining. But Putin doesn’t care. Civilian lives mean nothing to him as long as he can wage terror in Ukraine and chase sick imperial dreams. Pressure must stay. Sanctions are doing their job.

1. Sanctions are good in terms of quantity, but miserable in terms of quality! It is only a matter of time before the Chinese become known as a “spare parts supplier”. We in Europe have our experience with counterfeit spare parts/chips. They are deadly for passengers!
