Trump just started a war on state climate laws. Does he have the weapons?

1. Climate action (management) is a weapon of war and will become the death of us all. It needs to be stopped by any means possible.

2. Unlikely. They have to prove there is a federal law that usurps state climate laws which violate the supremacy clause.

   Not that I think the current make up of SCOTUS cares about the constitution very much

3. Tyranny. Republicans *love* to talk about states’ rights—until Big Polluters tell them otherwise. $$$

4. Abuse of power as president is a hell of a weapon.

   “We’re protecting abortion and the planet.”

   “The left’s overreach is just sickening, isn’t it?”

6. This is going to be very, very hard to implement, and even harder to prove that it’s legal. It’s going to make for entertaining (read: infuriating) legal challenges for the next couple of months.
