A Russian occupier surrendered to a Ukrainian drone. Interestingly, while following The drone, the soldier notices Mavic lying on the side of the road and, with the consent of the drone operator, picks it up so that he can go “visit” with a gift
What the hell is he picking up a drone for? How does he know that won’t explode? How are they communicating with him?
If he winds up in a prisoner exchange, he’d better hope his superiors don’t see this.
That is crazy, a smart Russian soldier.
Happy days
This one will live.
Good, deserves a cigarette and cozy bed in the camp for that.
Still the smartest in his entire battlegroup
I love these videos. I hope he made it to the lines successfully. Wish more surrendered, and there were more videos like this. Hopeful for a day when peace is once again found throughout Ukraine.
I like how “up and down” is just a universal yes in games or in war.
Was Watching like any moment that drone could explode
Looting while actively surrendering is so Russian. /s
He also looked really happy, he perfectly knows how lucky he is, I’m glad for him
how fucking terrifying it’d be to have death itself floating right in front of you like that.. Christ.
I’m not worthy I’m not worth
He better apply for asylum and citizenship. This sub I am sure gets reviewed by the Ruskies. Maybe his family can escape?
He looked ready to skip to the Ukrainian side when he picked up the drone. Like a little kid finding a lost toy lmao
Something about this guy and the drone walking down the street would make a great movie. I imagine they become friends and go on adventures and have deep talks.
Wall-E 2?
That dim lightbulb had finally went on after a direct drone hit on his dugout. Not a complete retard after all.
Me, watching video: “omfg STOP BOWING AND JUST FOLLOW THE DRONE!” 😅
I like the drone nodded when he pointed to the other drone.
Young and smart.
Good Russian. This man said, “nope, fuck this, take me home.”
All the bowing was smart. It comes across as one of the most sincere gestures he could do in order to communicate his intent.
Doesn’t matter who you are, that’s international sign language for “I want to live”.
Good boy
This one needs to be studied. There might be some human in there.
He’s smart to surrender.
Is it just me or are we seeing more surrender videos lately?
Smart russians are rare but he is one. 🙂
Excellent self-preservation at play, here. I hope he receives fair treatment and is only returned to Russia if it’s his personal wish.
I’m glad to see the Ukrainians still exercise mercy, even to Russian soldiers, since, Lord knows, no one from that side deserves it.
I was waiting for the jagga jagga. ….
Instead of being pointlessly “foddered” for Pooti’s ambitions, they should surrender en masse.
Kudos to this guy for being aware enough to surrender.
Glad to see Ukrainians granting the surrender.
Humanity 👌
You can tell a whole load was just lifted off this guys shoulders. He’s has like the walk of a man that just got laid. Imagine going from staring your imminent death right in the face, to then being taken out of the hellish situation all together and knowing you will live. Fucking insane feeling I bet.
Always bring a nuke to a first date.
The mavic was just lying on the road? Seems staged to me.
The mavic just happened to be lying on the side of the road? Seems pretty staged to me. Pardon me for my lack of knowledge, but how can we be sure who released it? All the units have their own insignia and intro/outro baked in the video.
This is some of the most wholesome content I’ve seen on this site for a while.
