  1. She’s been there from the beginning and it must be a horrible experience. You see all this unnecessary death and destruction and the GOP in your own country are holding up weapons deliveries that have already been approved by Congress and supporting Russian propaganda. It’s gotta be absolutely maddening to be ambassador under Trump, Putin’s lapdog.

  2. The ambassador tried to resign in January when Trump came to power but was rejected.

  3. I’m surprised Trump didn’t install his own person in there, like that ass Richard Grenell who was his ambassador to Germany. I guess he was unwilling to put his fingerprints anywhere near Kiev, or maybe is just indifferent to this aspect of the State Department?

  4. I’m surprised none of the Trump kids were made ambassador from the gate.

  5. >“We will know soon enough, in a matter of weeks, not months, whether Russia is serious about peace or not. I hope they are.”

It’s sad to see her leave, frankly, because serving as ambassador in that environment must have been incredibly tough, I can imagine the pressure she faced, and it’s somewhat unsettling to see how things have escalated, what a burden, really.

  6. She has to say things Trump administration tells her to say. Referencing the latest reaction of US Embassy on Kryvyi Rig. She couldn’t bluntly say “Russia has committed yet another horrible war crime like the criminals they are” because Trump’s administration “doesn’t want to ruin the negotiations of cease-fire”. I’d also resign if I was forced to say things I don’t relate to or don’t want to say.

  7. Tough as hell to serve there from the beguining. Even harder to support a US administrations policies that one really dont agree with. Especially after seeing what she had to have seen and knowing the Trump policies are very contra productive. No wonder the US administration wanted her to stay even so as she had to connection needed to have an influence at all.

  8. She has no confidence in the current regime supporting the nation she has been ambassador to for the last three years, indeed she probably feels Trump is going to sacrifice Ukraine and she has no desire to be forced to be a part of it.

  9. It is truly sad that the US isn’t helping Ukraine…. These people have suffered so much and needlessly, if only Biden had given Zelenskyy the weapons he wanted right at the start of the conflict, just think where the world would be now, I completely believe that Ukraine would have kicked Putin’s ass and would have been victorious by now. If only we could turn back time.. My heart goes out to all of the people of Ukraine…

  10. Probably some bullshit coming down the pipe from the administration that she wasn’t absolutely no part of.
