Got the route idea from Accomplished_Stick65 on another post

Anything you would add or leave out? Going in early September, would do this in 8 to 10 days. Plan to rent an SUV. We loved the Westfjords in Iceland and the valleys in southern Iceland. We love to experience the culture, food, and scenery.

  1. Pretty good! Be careful in Voss, i don’t like Voss. Actually be careful anywhere besides where i live. I don’t like anywhere besides where i live.

  2. The road between Åndalsnes and Dombås is one of the most spectacular valleys in Norway. I would consider doing a back-and-forth detour.

  3. I would make som tweaks myself.

If you’re already going to/through Odda, i would make sure I went to [Langfoss](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langfossen) it’s just slightly further than where you turn off the road to Odda.

And while I was heading down that way, after enjoying Langfoss, I would keep going to a hidden gem; the old E134 road along Åkrafjorden.

I used to do tourist tours to Langfoss for people visiting on cruiseships to Haugesund (west coast), and I’d drive them the regular road to Langfoss (for a super steep price) which is basically a straight path through some seriously long tunnels, really boring, but I’d take the old roads back and out of the 100+ tours I did, 100% of them said the price was worth it, not for the waterfall (seriously, it was 3000NOK for a 2 hour trip, it’s insane, and I didn’t pick the price) , but for the trip back and used to tip me almost double the price. I’ll snag a screenshot of directions starting from Odda.

You can basically do a lap where you go down the old road and U turn at the end and go back the regular road to the Odda intersection in about 45-60 minutes. Plus whatever time you take for stopping to take pictures, and trust me, you will 😂 it’s an insanely beautiful road with amazing views, including short tunnels carved directly from the mountainside and a bridge used for bungiejumping that has a gorgeous view. It’s my absolute favorite landscape view in Norway.

    Screenshot coming.

  4. Pretty nice route. If Trollstigen is open you should go that way instead of around it between Geiranger and Åndalsnes.
