Meghan Markle stepped out for a fun night in New York City during Prince Harry’s trip across the pond.
The Duchess of Sussex grabbed a bite to eat with a few friends at the Polo Bar on Thursday before catching a Broadway show.
Markle, 43, looked chic in a black blouse with a floor-length Carolina Herrera houndstooth pencil skirt ($1,390), as seen in photos obtained by Page Six exclusively.
The As Ever founder, who wore her hair down straight, paired the black-and-white look with sleek stilettos and minimal jewelry.

After dinner, Markle traveled up to Times Square in a four-vehicle motorcade, including an unmarked NYPD car.
A group of security guards escorted the California native and her pals into the Majestic Theatre, where they watched six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald star in a revival of “Gypsy.”
Markle managed to go unnoticed in the crowd; Page Six asked four showgoers whether they saw her, but no one even knew she was there.
“I was too busy being transfixed by Audra,” one said.

However, they noted that the security seemed a bit ramped up.
McDonald, 54, has been an outspoken supporter of Markle in the past, having previously named the “Suits” alum the person she “admires most.”
“I don’t know how she continues to walk through this world with the grace, strength and purpose that she does given the unbearable amount of vitriol and hate she has been subjected to, but she does,” the Broadway star said in 2023. “I wish she didn’t have to.”
Although it is unclear whether the two women have met, Markle surely repaid the support by attending the two-hour-and-40-minute show in person.

While the “Confessions” podcast host was enjoying the lights-out performance, her husband was across the world meeting with war victims.
Following his multi-day security trial in London’s High Court, the Duke of Sussex, 40, made a surprise trip to Ukraine as part of his ongoing work with wounded veterans.
Harry made the unannounced visit to the Superhumans Center, which has been providing top-notch rehabilitation services to those wounded in the Russia-Ukraine war, on Thursday.

The redheaded royal took photos with the renowned staff and patients before visiting with Ukraine’s minister of veterans affairs, Natalia Kalmykova.
Harry notably founded the Invictus Games in 2014, a sporting event for wounded and injured servicemen and women with a goal of inspiring recovery and rehabilitation.
He was joined by a few people from the organization. However, their visit was not made public until after his departure due to the ongoing conflict in the area.
