FLYONE, a company with 9 years of experience in the aviation market and a leader in both Moldova and Armenia, announces the expansion of its operations in Romania. This summer, the airline officially launches a new operational base at Henri Coandă International Airport – Otopeni, marking its official debut on the Romanian market.
As part of this expansion strategy, two modern Airbus A320 aircraft, configured with 180 seats, will be stationed at Henri Coandă International Airport. These aircraft feature fly-by-wire technology, side-stick controls, and quiet cabins, providing an efficient and comfortable flight experience. The A320 is widely used by airlines across Europe, reflecting the industry’s strong confidence in this versatile model.
Three new international routes from Bucharest:
Verona (Italy) – Flights on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting June 10, 2025. This route is a first for the Romanian market, strategically chosen to meet high tourist demand and offer weekend getaways to one of Europe’s most romantic cities.
Brussels (Belgium) – Flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting July 2, 2025, providing efficient connections for both tourism and business travel to the administrative capital of Europe.
Tel Aviv (Israel) – Flights on Thursdays and Sundays, starting June 5, 2025. The schedule is designed to accommodate tourist flows and the diaspora community.
Company objectives:
FLYONE anticipates strong traffic potential on these new routes, aligned with current demand and the growing interest in the proposed destinations. In 2024, the company recorded a 20% increase compared to the previous year, and for 2025 aims to accelerate its development by expanding its presence in Romania.
Currently, FLYONE operates charter flights from 10 airports in Romania and also offers a business jet dedicated to private flights.
Company statement:
“Bucharest plays a key role in our growth strategy. We want to offer Romanian travelers and guests of Romania not just a safe alternative, but also a comfortable and accessible one. The new routes naturally complement FLYONE’s existing network and represent an important step in our approach to the Romanian market.”— Vladimir CEBOTARI, CEO, FLYONE AIRLINES
