Look i don’t like the act either, but this is a pretty gross misrepresentation
4 democrats did vote FOR the SAVE act, though, and I don’t see them getting kicked out of the party. The parties are not the same, but one of them is cartoonishly evil and the other just regular evil.
Given the choice (now knowing the results of an insane feminist agenda) most women would choose not to suffrage.
I’m sorry, what did I miss here?
“Both sides” is the garbage bluedogs pull out to undermine legitimate criticism of the democratic party.
Oh don’t worry, they’ll still both sides it like how it’s already happening in this thread because 4 Dems voted for it, despite the overwhelming majority being against it. Dems can never do enough and get raked over the coals for little things that didn’t even impact the overall result, while forgetting that this was put in place by the GOP.
Next the banking regulations will change to exclude women
I’m sorry, what?
In the Citizens United ruling in 2010, all of the conservative justices ruled that money is speech and corporations are people. All of the liberal justices dissented.
“Both sides” has been the dumbest take for *at least* 15 years.
Good move
Well let’s be intellectually honest here, it doesn’t REMOVE the right to vote just makes it MORE DIFFICULT. It just adds an extra layer of bs to an already needlessly tedious endeavor. If you changed your name get a new passport, it’s an acceptable form of ID and then you have your passport. I think this is really stupid but let’s stop with the hyperbolic doom and gloom statements and go with telling people solutions to their new problems.
Good advice from Dennis just feels icky
This post only makes me more of a “both sides” person, in that I distrust both sides.
This bill is about voter ID, which is used in every sane and civilized country on earth. Canada has it. Every country in Europe has it. Several dozen states in fact already have it.
And yet voters in all those places seem to have no problem voting, including the married women who changed their names.
I know this is Reddit which is like political porn for Democrats but you lose credibility with this crap, you’re no different than the lying Republicans.
At this point your can’t say you are republican and also support the constitution and the bill of rights at the same time.
