Early in Trump’s rise to political prominence he did pay people from Craigslist ads to show up at his rallies. Since he is corrupt he assumes everybody else is too. That is the dilemma of a person who is morally bankrupt.
There’s also the factor of *our* cost to protest. Time off work, travel, etc. So not only are people not being paid to do it, they’re *paying* to do it.
Meanwhile fElon is paying people $1M to vote. This is perfectly fine though, obviously.
I wonder if he sees these signs or if his staff shelters him.
