Russia did a tremendous amount of work on circumventing sanctions. What stops them from helping China circumvent tariffs?

1. Not much. Also USA tarrifs help Russia get better prices for Chinese goods.

2. It might not be worth the effort. Some will of course but given that it’s not a world wide isolation of China only low effort measures make sense. The rest of the energy makes more sense spent in strengthening relations with other countries diversifying the risk.

3. Loads of countries do it already, this is nothing new. It creates overhead and is a pain in the ass
