‘More than 300 applicants’ for French university offering places for American researchers

Last month saw Aix-Marseille University launch the Safe Place for Science programme, offering American academics worried about continuing their research under the Donald Trump administration a place to carry on their work. Denis Bertin, the university’s vice-president, joined France 24 to talk about the reaction to the programme which, he says, has already seen more than 300 applications received.

They will be happier anyways living in a dictatorship like France where a political opponent can be accused of false crimes without it backfiring.   49. I was also struggling due to politics and I was in France for some time but I was from a very poor country, so nobody in France, Germany, UK even gave a dam* about me!
