The first-ever EU- Central Asia summit was held in Samarkand, where an enhanced partnership and cooperation agreement between the EU and Uzbekistan was established, to be signed later this year.
Among those who attended include the EU’s António Costa and Ursula von der Leyen and the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
