With Trump back pedalling on his tariffs plan, I’m in absolute belief that his plan is to raise taxes through whatever tariffs stick. The purpose is to allow Republicans to give huge tax cuts for the ultra wealthy.
So far tariffs on groceries is what’s sticking.
