  2. They can not afford it now but they are still there. While ecconomics have an impact but war once started is not stopped just because you are going in the hole. It is more like a gambler going double or nothing and then borrowing from the loan sharks to try again.

  5. You are taking as if they will hire people to be meat shield in the future. They will use donkey or whatever stuffs they dug up in storage (thanks to USSR, there probably have a lot of them even many of them are broken) and send them in some of the most dangerous suicidal missions and they will win because of the population size of Russia. This will happen and judging from current situation. Nothing gonna stop them and USA will probably help them.

  12. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Already in March 2022, weeks into the war, we read that Russia’s economy wouldn’t be able to sustain the war effort past 2022. And then every couple months after that. But this time it’s for real I swear. I’ll believe it when I see it.

  13. None of these projections seem to matter. The Russian national tolerance for irrational sacrifice is legendary and not considered in any analysis. With a US president now showing allegiance to Putin, he is likely feeling significantly less pressure and worry.

    I’ll only believe when we start to see positive changes inside Ukraine.
