  1. This is good news but the relevant part is buried down the text and doesn’t provide any technical details as it only mentions the number of jobs it will create.

    PS: this isn’t the original title so didn’t be surprised if this gets deleted.

  2. By first-of-a-kind they mean “No NuScale SMRs have ever been deployed”, so take this with a large grain of salt.

    I’m all for nuclear power, particularly smaller failsafe(ish) ones, but they don’t actually exist in commercial form yet.
