LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival is set to return for its 14th year, offering nine days of free STEM educational events and interactive activities for school-aged children and their families.

The festival kicks off on April 25 and features over 40 events throughout the city, culminating in a Giant Science and Technology Expo at the World Market Center on May 3.

Since its inception in 2011, the festival has grown to become Nevada’s largest educational event, reaching over 20,000 participants in 2024.

The annual community event aims to inspire young minds and ignite their interest in STEM career fields by showcasing the unique science, technology, engineering, and math programming available within the community.

The Clark County School District (CCSD) school with the highest attendance at the expo will receive a $1,000 award from the Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival.

All festival events are free and open to the public, but registration is required as space is limited and based on availability.

While some events have reached capacity, others still have spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Presented by the Las Vegas Natural History Museum in collaboration with the Clark County School District, the festival is a celebration of innovation and education.

Its mission is to raise awareness of STEM careers and highlight the unique opportunities available within the community for the whole family.
