  1. Only an idiot would believe trump would be able to end the war. His plan was simple, end the war by getting Ukraine to surrender. Pretty easy to end a war that way. However, he was too stupid to realize Ukraine was not going to just hand their country over to Russia.

  2. Ofc, he hasnt spoiled enough Ukraine…let them sign the rare minerals pact, then he will push for the end of war….as a surrender to Russia

  3. Trump thought he could get Putin a win quickly. Now he has no choice but to tapdance.

  4. Invaders will not be stopped if countries try to provide them with benefits.

  5. It is time that Ukraine can also use ballistic missiles.

  6. Hardly a surprise, only his dumbass voters could have believed it. Putin got the upper hand now. The United States of Israel are at their lowest point in the last couple of decades. Next stop is Iran and some bogus excuse to bomb like they did Iraq 20 years over some fake wmd

  7. At this point it would be better just for him to completely leave the war to the European leaders.

    Just leave.

  8. He could put diplomatic pressure on Putin, but Trump is weak and needs his idol’s approval.

  9. He is bored with war as no quick victory there, he is bored with tariffs, what is next on his entertainment menu?

  10. I’ll end the war 24 hours after I take office 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡💩

  11. Trump needs to stop sending Witkoff to negotiate. Ukrainians aren’t happy with him. Heck even Israelis aren’t happy that Witkoff is negotiating with Iran.

Nobody wants Witkoff to do any bidding.

Send in Rubio and get somebody from the senate to join along, like a Tom Cotton

  12. Remember, he’d like Ukraine to give in, let Russia take if all and get mineral rights for the big of Ukraine that full of rare earth. He has zero interest in the deaths, the psychopath in him is only ever interested in himself.

  13. He’s absolutely helping russia by not helping Ukraine. He didn’t tariff them either and he hasn’t done anything to punish them for not engaging in the peace negotiations. What exactly did trumps team talk with russia about? It must have had something to do with planning the pause in aid so they could launch their offensive in kursk.

  14. Trump thought Putin would give him some minor concessions and then he could claim them as proof of success but Putin is unwilling to make any concessions.

  15. Oh man, the next thing you will tell me is he will drop the tariff war with China!

  16. I understood that they weren’t allowed to use the ballistic missiles into Russia.

  17. So many things had to change for the things to become the same…

  18. This article is not even nearly critical enough.

Trump’s administration has repeatedly parroted Putinist propaganda. Maybe Americans can play it down to some random situational brainfart but to many in Europe, that is enough for us to never trust those people ever again, and some of that will latch on to entire USA for some time.

Within the months of Trump’s presidency, we have only seen support for Ukraine being pulled and then returned to some extent, Ukraine constantly criticized, while the very few critical words towards Russia, the irredentist regime that started the war and could end it any point, have sounded hollow, almost like some pathetic attempts of trying to appear more neutral.

Last but not least, we have not heard even a single hint of *any* concessions from Russia all through this time. How bad can you even be at negotiations when you have revealed all your cards at this point while achieving nothing from the other side in months?

All this makes USA look weak, cowardly, treacherous, immoral, arrogant and stupid all at once.

  19. > Trump isn’t ending the war in Ukraine, he’s prolonging it

And of course, nobody in media systems has any memory that this was spelled out all along as part of the master plan initiated in 2013.

[“But the key thing was, that Surkov then let it be known that this was what he was doing, which meant that no one was sure what was real or fake. As one journalist put it: “It is a strategy of power that keeps any opposition constantly confused.” A ceaseless shape-shifting that is unstoppable because it is undefinable. It is exactly what Surkov is alleged to have done in the Ukraine this year. In typical fashion, as the war began, Surkov published a short story about something he called non-linear war. A war where you never know what the enemy are really up to, or even who they are. **The underlying aim, Surkov says, is not to win the war, but to use the conflict to create a constant state of destabilized** perception, in order to manage and control.”](https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2014/12/31/bbcs_adam_curtis_on_the_contradictory_vaudeville_of_post-modern_politics.html) – BBC, Adam Curtis, 2014

“Operation Matthew 4:19” was planned in late 2012. Happy Palm Sunday.

  20. Does Britain has journalists anymore or it’s just opinion pieces that reader repeat to pretend they understand anything?

  21. Ah, I guess it meant that with Biden, the war was coming to an end?

Or it meant with Biden war will end in 12 years, but with Trump in 15?

  22. I did not hear anything from him about the Sumy massacre. He does not care about Ukrainian children being killed by a terrorist state.

  23. Well duh, only dumb stupid people thought he actually wanted peace

  24. The West has been prolonging this war for years instead of doing what is necessary: send Ukraine the equipment it needs, and remove limits on striking military targets on Russian soil

  25. Trump is inadequate and unable to comply something constructive. Very very delusional.

  26. Not just that but also started a new war. The tariff war. What disastrous thing will he do for his own gain next?

  27. Trump couldn’t care less. Almost he wants is to bag as much loot as he can, from ukraines energy and natural resources.

  28. Looking forward to the day when Putin and his orange lapdog are no longer.

  29. Trump Trump Trump…everything is on the US’s shoulders apparently

  30. Just like Biden tbh, the US has never been interested in Ukraine winning.
