Avcon Jet (AOJ, Vienna) has phased out its only Praetor 600 it operated, while Avcon Jet Malta (VCJ, Malta International) phased out its sole Pilatus PC-24, ch-aviation research reveals.
The Praetor 600, 9H-NYX (msn 55020115), is 5.1 years old and configured for up to 13 passengers. Previously registered as OE-HXX, the aircraft was based at Hamburg and was last active under Avcon Jet’s ‘AOJ’ code on March 8, flying between Zurich and Mönchengladbach, where it has remained parked since. The jet’s new operator is currently unknown.
This was the only Praetor 600 operated by the Avcon Jet group. The Austria-based division continues to operate two other Embraer Executive Jets, a Praetor 500 and a Legacy 600. The group also manages additional Embraer aircraft on other registries, including Avcon Jet San Marino, which operates a Legacy 650.
Meanwhile, Avcon Jet Malta has retired Pilatus PC-24 9H-APX (msn 104). The 7.1-year-old aircraft, configured for up to eight passengers, was last active under the company’s ‘VCJ’ code on January 15, flying from Paris Le Bourget to Geneva.
On April 5, the aircraft resumed operations under the ‘ALE’ code for AllianceJet (Malta), with a flight to Genoa. It is the first aircraft of the type operated by the company. Its fleet also includes a Falcon 900LX, a Global 6000, and four PC-12. AllianceJet recently retired its last Challenger 605.
Following this retirement, Avcon Jet Malta’s fleet now includes a Global 5000, three Global 6000s, two Citation XLS, a Citation Sovereign+, a Falcon 2000LX, a GVII-G500, two G650s, and a G650ER.
