  1. Freedom for Ekrem Imamoğlu – president candidate of Türkiye and all young people arrested after protests.

All we want is justice and democracy..

  2. The cases against Imamoglu are built upon hearsays from secret witnesses who are not very secret anymore. These “secret witnesses” have 16-17 criminal records, and the same ”secret witnesses” have been used against Imamoglu and CHP for various allegations and court cases in the past. The present cases against Imamoglu include NO evidence, but just words like “I heard he took huge amount of money in a garbage bag” etc. Not even “I saw”. Foreign media should publish more details on this case!

  3. Injustice always arises from the fear of those in power. It is precisely this fear that underlies Ekrem İmamoğlu’s current situation: the overwhelming public support he enjoys threatens the existing power structure. Yet one must never forget: the greater the injustice, the stronger society's resolve for justice and solidarity with the victim becomes. Those standing with İmamoğlu today do so not out of personal interest, but because of their sincere belief in justice and merit. History does not record the victories of those attempting to silence the voice of the righteous—it celebrates the triumph of those who amplify it.

Ekrem İmamoğlu is an effective, trustworthy, and strong leader capable of uniting society. A Türkiye without Erdoğan will not jeopardise crucial economic, strategic, and military cooperation with Europe and Great Britain (especially concerning Ukraine, Syria, and irregular migration); on the contrary, İmamoğlu’s modern, peaceful, and dependable leadership will provide a much stronger foundation for these vital common interests. Under İmamoğlu’s presidency, democracy, freedom of expression, and justice will swiftly be restored, allowing Türkiye to rapidly fulfil the necessary criteria for EU membership and secure its existing strategic contributions to Europe. Such a future seems now closer than ever.

As we enter an era of increasing autocracy globally, I question from the perspective of European and British values: Where exactly do tall men, unpredictable bullies, and opportunistic dictators fit within these values? Furthermore, Europe's and Britain's need for Türkiye’s military and intellectual elites, in terms of human resources and experience, has never been greater. Are Europe and Britain genuinely aware of how valuable this proposition is for their future?
