That was a pretty stupid battle for him to pick. All he did was show that he clearly didn’t understand BET was not for him before (when everyone else already knew this)
That’s because homophobia isn’t addressed within his community. Nobody says anything about it. All people want to do is cry about white Christians.
And this is why Buttigieg will never win the Dem nomination. Black people would rather vote for a straight white man than a gay black man.
BET is not reflective of the Black community. Sometimes it can feel like our tastes are narrow, but i don’t think this is unique to the Black community.
Yeah BET sucks but I wouldn’t put that on the black community. I don’t think BET is even owned and operated by a black person.
