They insist that their service is compatible with Apple Watch. The first cs rep told me to simply scan the QR code for the eSIM, but that is not how apple watches are activated. The second cs rep told me to order the plan from Apple, which, no? Obviously not. The third rep told me to await an email from their technical team later that day. It’s been three days, no emails. If any of you have an Apple Watch active with sim24, PLEASE tell me how you did it. Thank you in advance.

P.S. the T-Mobile plan you see on my watch is from T-Mobile US, so it is not a valid long-term solution, as they will eventually cancel my service for excessive roaming, as I live in Germany now.

  1. While 1&1 ist listed as one of the 4 providers in Germany that supports Apple Watch, their lower cost subsidiaries might be left out.
When it’s not working through the app, then it’s not working.
