    It might be hard for a few months to replace a few specialised American capabilities. But it’s better long term to not have to care about what they think should happen in the war

  12. You don’t start a war but if the bully attacks you, you defend yourself, you don’t roll over in supplication.

    I’m starting to think when Trump say it was a mistake referring to the Palm Sunday attack he says it was a mistake of those Ukrainians to be there.

    People *do* start wars with nations 20 times *smaller* than them. That is a thing people do.

What keeps me going is this vision I have of Trump one day giving one of his public speeches, starting out normal and gradually becoming more erratic, mixing up words, slurring until what is left of his decrepit mind finally shuts down and he just grunts and puffs and makes these pig like sounds until he stops… and the MAGA crowd breaks down in tears because of the sheer beauty of his words and his eloquence while years later claiming this never happened at if it did was all Biden’s fault.

  33. That is super funny because the US quite literally lost against both the Taliban in Afghanistan and against Vietnam, neither of which are 20 times the size of the US
