A BBC radio host delivered a sharp 10-word jab at Meghan Markle during a live broadcast.

On Monday’s edition of BBC Radio Four’s Today show, presenter Nick Robinson made a quip about the 43 year old Duchess of Sussex, who was said to be trying to find ways to “save” her podcast after a ‘disgrace” move, while discussing American celebrities.

In a conversation about celebrities like American TV personality Gayle King and pop star Katy Perry leading space trips with Jeff Bezos‘s rocket company Blue Origin, Robinson took a 10-word dig at Meghan.

He remarked: “Surely Meghan Markle‘s got to be on the next one [rocket].”

Upon learning that Prince Harry‘s wife is friends with Gayle King, he added: “Ah, it’s only a matter of time.”

The inaugural podcast episode was released just over a month after her Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” premiered on TV screens for the first time.

While the Duchess is engaged in numerous projects, her spouse, Prince Harry, 40, appears to have minimal involvement in these. Instead, the couple are concentrating on their individual professional commitments.

Just last week, Harry — who stepped away from Royal duties with Meghan in 2020 — was in Ukraine working with The Invictus Games Foundation as part of his philanthropic endeavors.

Meghan did not join her husband on this journey, which he embarked on immediately after attending court hearings in the UK concerning his security entitlements. She chose to stay home, focusing on her own work projects alongside their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
