EU leaders condemn killing of unarmed civilians in Bucha and Kyiv

  1. They should do fucking something about it, it’s not like they don’t have the power to just send our militaries in. Or lease equipment from NATO countries to Ukraine so they shoot from NATO territory like Russia shoots from Belarus

  2. Excuse me Mr. Macron, sir? Can we *now* call Putin a “Butcher”, please, or is it still an escalation and we should still stick to thoughts and prayers?

  3. Despite the “unprecedented sanctions”, the European response as a whole is pathetic.

The equipment Ukraine needs is there, literally 50x fold but as usual every little state needs to go through its bs political maze just to agree to send a few armored personnel carriers and basic infantry weapons, let alone tanks, planes or artillery.

Poland is ready to send jets as long as it can do it alongside one of the big boys – nope, not tenable – no politician wants to be responsible for a Russian retaliation of any kind (the precedent making small ex-Warsaw pact states unable to entertain sending major equipment) so we just watch as women are getting raped, cut up and burned and anything valuable in Ukraine either gets bombed or looted.

If the leadership of this one country with 1/10th the EU economy was anywhere close to being competent, Putin would have won already and destroyed any hopes of a peaceful Europe.

And this doesn’t even mention the energy dependency – for decades we build more pipes to Russia but don’t build any to Turkmenistan (100km in the Caspian sea) or the Middle East…
