Perseid Meteor Shower 2021 at Lesachtal, Austria [OC]

  1. STORY

Once again, the Perseid Meteor Shower aroused my excitement. But unlike the years before, I decided to spend these nights on holiday with my beloved friends in Austria.

Time magically passed by while I was switching between my cameras and the fireplace, enjoying the quietness, showing my astro photo workflow and sharing snacks and drinks while we observed the night sky illuminated by the meteors. The remote cabin from the Strieder Family gave us the perfect setting and overwhelming view.

The mundane beauty of the Austrian Dolomites, as seen from a tiny alpine hut in the mountains of the Lesach Valley. It’s a calm place filled with precious secrets, adventures and wilderness, while being constantly wrapped into breathtaking and permanently changing views you never get tired of.
