EU trade chief says ready to discuss deals with US, but will respond to unilateral action

The EU’s trade chief has said the bloc was interested in having trade deals with the United States, but would react swiftly if the US went ahead with unilateral tariff hikes. Addressing a business meeting ahead of talks with officials, Commissioner Maros Sefcovic rejected President Donald Trump’s claim that US-EU trade ties were unfair, saying the overall picture was “very balanced”.   6. America / Russia / China are the new threat. Americans have voted in their own dictator, but he is not our dictator, he's Americas. Trump / America are no longer allies of NATO / Europe. Europe needs to be fully militarily independent of America / NATO and have no reliance on America. America has no business negotiating a European security sell out. Shameful behaviour. The UK / Europe now need to fully step up so they are able to effectively defend Ukraine and all European countries. Remove America / Trump from all peace negotiations. The UK and Europe MUST Stand by Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
