1. I heard story about one old Canadian, who visit France once. He was slow, he cannot find his passport. The French customs officer asked him impatiently why he hadn't got his passport ready. It must have been your first time in France. The second time answered old Canadian. The first time I didn't find a single French customs officer on Juno Beach in 1944.

2. Canadian here. My family and I want nothing more to do with Americans or America. We've always been VERY fond of France (I went to school there for 3 years (Ecole élémentaire Buffon, 5eime arrondissement, Paris- juste on face du Jardin Des Plantes) and it's still our go-to holiday destination (we love Agen) now that we have 6 grandkids(!) and they are starting to want to see the world- it's France and Europe they want to see- Disneyland isn't even an after thought. We don't know if France reminds us of old Montreal or if it's old Montreal that reminds us of France! We have been going to France for 60 years now, so it's all mixed-up in our heads.

3. Yeah I’m not risking flying 18 hours just to get put in jail all because the immigration agent might take offense to me calling his dear leader a clown.

19. They keep repeating in utmost derogatory terms that the rest of the world is so inferior to them and that they need no one. There's nothing surprising here. No one wants to visit a place where people think you are so bad and inferior.

20. Trump simply can not wait to send everyone to el salvador, or prison, or a camp of some sort, or to death row. Nobody should travel here until he is gone for good, and his party has zero power. Project 2025 is dangerous for everyone on the globe. He basks in the idea that he has made people afraid.

    There are plenty of other countries to visit in the meantime.

26. As a citizen of the USA, please do not come and risk your safety. The only thing this administration cares about it money, so I hope that not only do you protect yourselves by not traveling here, but that it hurts this country monetarily. Many US citizens are terrified for their own safety at this point as well, as well as the state of the entire country. No visitors deserve to be roped into this mess.
