GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – ECU Health is hosting an open house this afternoon to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the hospital’s lifesaving critical transport program EastCare.
The open house will begin at 1 p.m. today at the lower landing pad at the corner of Heart and Services Drives.
The celebration will highlight the four decades of dedicated service providing lifesaving transport both in the air and on the ground for critically ill and injured patients.
Since it was founded in 1985, EastCare has logged millions of miles and has helped thousands of patients of all ages in moments of immediate need.
Today’s celebration will honor the efforts made by EastCare’s staff as well as the patients whose lives have been touched by the program.
Patients will tell their stories, and team members will emphasize key milestones.
ECU Health shared that there will be parking available for the open house at ECU Health Wellness Center, and a shuttle to the event will be available.
