The Late Late Show is starting to look like a withering old former Cheltenham purebred. What once was a fine example of topical current affairs discussion and a wonderful reflection of the national psyche is really starting to deteriorate with age. Some may suggest putting the show out to stud, but IMO, the fairest thing at this point is to bring it out back behind the stables.

Why even have a house band?
EDIT: I think some people are reading this wrong. I don’t mean THIS band specifically. I just mean why have any house band in general.
Cheaper then Turbity I’d imagine.
What you reckon the chances are of Tubbriddibbiddy being their manager and getting a slice of that pie too?
I certainly think it’s a rumor worth starting.
The band aren’t the problem, I know lads who have done the late late before and it doesn’t pay that well. They’re all top musicians despite not actually playing on the night, which is odd. It’s a few quid for struggling artists. There are worse wastes of money in rte….
Could be worse. Could be Nathan Carter.

Kinda wish whatever live band they got to play at dancing with the stars was miming. They somehow performed a song out of key both vocally and instrumentally last month. Insane.
Worse again- pretending the backing singer’s voice belongs to your mrs.
