Les souverains ont décidé de parcourir un tronçon du célèbre chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, jusqu’à la ville espagnole du même nom.

Il s’agit d’une tradition ancrée dans la famille royale depuis 2017. Chaque année, les souverains et leurs quatre enfants parcourent un tronçon de ce célèbre itinéraire qui rassemble encore aujourd’hui des pèlerins du monde entier.

Cette année, le couple royal ainsi que la princesse Éléonore et les princes Gabriel et Emmanuel ont démarré de Santa Irene, et ont poursuivi leur route par Lavacolla et Monte do Gozo, jusqu’à Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
