It’s not a shock for me I have known for ages. It’s been on the news for weeks.
And all the sites crashed yesterday.
Bulb went behind a Cloudflare queue with waits over an hour and when I got through (which tool about 3 hours), it was dead. Refreshed and I was back behind over an hour in the queue at around 23:50.
Going to have to call them and see if they can attribute the readings to yesterday (I have pictures) because their site doesn’t allow you to set a date of reading.
Did manage to lower the DD to £170 from the £190 they want though (we used to pay £110), so that’s at least something.
Last year my electricity was ~16p kw/h. Just checked and it’s now 27.86.
A 75% increase
This is what happens when your government cares more about money than they do about you
This is a real blow, I’m gonna have to do a spot of burglary to make the necessary side income.
