Are there any decent Northern Irish comedians that don’t all just repeat the same patter or tired stereotypes about this place?
My wife and her family love Shane Todd and Paddy Raff and all that ilk, but I just don’t get it and just nod along politely when they make me watch them.
In fairness to Paddy, he’s working on a tour to take to America to entertain them with a bit of Irishness that obviously wouldn’t be entertaining in Ireland. I think it’s a good grift tbh, yanks would love this clip
I would say the bomb squad pod is funny. Might be a bit too sweary but Colin Geddis and Aaron McCann. It’s a much lighter take and just 2 guys talking ahit and laughing.
