Matey’s never heard of climate change.

If I was middle-eastern and offered this opportunity, I’d be having all my kids born in Britain so they’re safe from the collapse of these precipitous desert societies.

  2. As the “right” type of (possibly) migrant (high education, several languages, well paying job) the answer is pretty simple: other parts of Europe would pay me better and offer better conditions, less hassle on settling + freedom of movement. Why would I want to come work here if I can do the same in Germany, France, Italy etc. with a better offer? If I want something with these kind of barriers, I’ll go to Australia, Canada, or the US…

The kind of migrants they want are NOT starved for choices.
