  1. That’s one thing I hate about TV and movies, they make falling or jumping through a window or glass door seem okay. It’s probably one of the most dangerous things you can do.

  2. I for one am not buying that story, it doesn’t add up to me, unless he was holding her in the room why would she do that, or he pushed her through it.

  3. This is as likely as that One Direction kid who accidentally fell off the balcony

We may need to educate kids about not running through glass doors though

  4. Yea and leaders of opposition parties in Russia fall out of windows…

  5. It’s weird there are people going through this thread downvoting anyone who voices suspicion that the boyfriend might have been involved. It’s as if people think that domestic violence is inherently unlikely, rather than it sadly being extremely common.

I’m not saying it’s *impossible* that a woman chose to “run through a glass door,” ending up with fatal injuries, just because she was angry, but I am going to say it’s inherently less probable than someone ending up with those injuries because another person did something to them.

  6. When I was young I ran through a clear glass door in excitement. It was so clear, it shattered and I got severe cuts and was rushed to hospital and lost alot of blood. lol it was really bad I’m underplaying it but yah. I believe it can happen for sure.

  7. Do they seriously believe that she ran through a glass door during a heated argument ??

  8. Damn, fucking economy these days. Usually it’s only an arm and a leg, not your arm and your whole life.

    Unlucky.

  9. The wife of a 70s current affairs documentary filmmaker did the same thing at our local supermarket. It does happen.

  10. In my youth I slammed through a door with safety glass (the metal trellis stuff on the inside) and as much as I didn’t die, I have numerous scars up both my arms which all required countless stitches, one of which took a good portion of the skin of my thumb off to the point if there was wind at the time, it would have been flapping in it!

Still most of my biggest and noticeable scars to this day and it was a solid 20 years ago now. Shits not to be taken lightly!
