ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WBNG) — Union-Endicott High School offers one of the best technology education programs in the world.
The school was one of just 20 in the world to be given the 2025 Program Excellence Award from the Technology and Engineering Education Association.
Michael Wichowski was one of three department teachers who accepted the award at ITEEA’s STEM National Conference in St. Louis, MO.
“I think within teaching, our rewards are our students’ successes, and seeing them as excited as we were for it, that’s the reward inside of it for us,” said Wichowski.
Wichowski credits the department’s diverse curriculum and district support for this award. He added that the students were just as excited about the recognition as he was.
