Princess Beatrice has firmly cemented her status as a style icon.

Thirteen years after making headlines with her bold Philip Treacy hat at Prince William‘s wedding, Beatrice was named the best-dressed person of 2024 by Tatler.

This remarkable turnaround is partly attributed to celebrity stylist Olivia Buckingham, who introduced the royal to the world of haute couture.

Her maternity wardrobe is a testament to her fashion finesse, featuring elegant dresses and tailored coats that gracefully skim her silhouette and subtly conceal her pregnancy.

Annie Holt, Chief Design and Creative Officer at Seraphine, tells MailOnline: ‘Princess Beatrice is known for her elegant maternity style. Since her most recent announcement, the Princess has in many cases chosen styles that conceal rather than highlight her baby bump.

‘To achieve this look, she has embraced layering using blazers and jackets, making these pieces the statement feature of her outfit and drawing attention away from her bump.’

Beatrice has also embraced black dresses, using the slimming qualities of the classic hue to expertly flatter her growing bump.

‘Bump-skimming dresses create the effect of draping over her bump rather than highlighting it,’ Annie says.

Below, we delve into Princess Beatrice’s impeccable maternity style.
